We landed in Chicago on time and as we got off the plane we managed to quickly grab the one bag we brought. We figured since were here for three days we don't need to bring a lot of stuff. Once we had everything we got to the CTA station to grab a three day pass. It ws $28.00 for the both of us and it took about 5 minutes for the machine to print the tickets. We took a nice train ride into the city and checked into the hotel about 12:15pm.
Since our room wasn't ready Ariana and I went for a walk on Michigan Ave. We checked out some shops like the Garmin store, Apple store, Macy's, , ect, ect. Ariana bought a white and back hat with some new gloves. Were always looking for a deal so she got 25% off. We continued to walk around and we saw a cool looking church to take some pictures in. saw a sign they were having a labyrinth walk at the Fourth Presbyterian Church. I participated where I walked a single path from the entrance to the center. They were playing soft music and had candles lit around the room. It was a nice experience. I have never done one before.
Once I was done wlking the path Ariana & I headed back to the hotel room for a nap. We traveled and walked around all day. We got up and got ready to head out to dinner. We decided to eat at the Cheesecake Factory but since were watching our weight we had to eat healthy and we passed on having any cheesecake. We settled in for the evening and watched some t.v. and we had to change the clocks back one hour due to daylight savings time. We had a nice time for the first day.
